Del Mar, CA—February 25, 2014—Macphun Software (www.macphun.com), a leading photography software developer with over 18 million users worldwide, today announced the release of Focus 2 Pro. An upgrade to the company’s popular Focus 2 software, the Pro version enables photographers to access new features such as motion blur and advanced fine-tuning for blur and focus areas. Focus 2 Pro runs as standalone software and also works as a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom, as well as Apple Aperture. It joins the rest of Macphun’s new line-up of professional grade software including Snapheal Pro (“Best of 2012” named by Apple) and Intensify Pro (“Best of 2013” named by Apple). Focus 2 Pro contains pre-configured aperture settings tuned for specific types of photography such as Portrait, Landscape, Macro and Tilt-Shift. Tilt-Shift helps create the popular “miniature” look in photos. Each setting also contains a new zoom style motion blur feature. A Custom Focus setting provides even greater control, allowing users to brush in focal points, selectively tune blur and focus areas and tap into new radial and linear blur capabilities. Vividness and Vignette capabilities provide a professional finished touch to images.

“Focus 2 Pro gives photographers high quality results that are often difficult to achieve without expensive lenses, allowing people to creatively draw attention to the most important subject in your photos.” said Paul Muzok, co-founder and CEO of Macphun Software. “We built the software to take creative focus and blurring effects to a whole new level,” Muzok concluded.
